The door from Milliways connects to the entrance to a large dance club, lit in varying shades of greens, blues, reds and oranges. The ceiling is high and black, decorated with hanging swaths of vividly-colored fabric. A black bar with a line of matching barstools lines one wall, lit from above by candles, from below by colored lights hidden under the rim of the bar itself. It is certainly well-stocked with many types of alcohol, and with actual bartenders to dispense it.

Down a short, central stairway the room opens up into the main dance floor, the walls and floor lit from within by ever-shifting colors, as well as light streaming down from the lights near the high ceiling, co-ordinated to match the current colors of the floor and walls. To the right of the entrance are various sitting areas of couches and comfortable chairs, all lit by a combination of candle-light and the light from the colored wall-panels.

The night is young, the music is playing, and the party's just getting started.

"Did I say anything about you now knowing?" He smiled mischievously. "At least I didn't get something with a more lewd name than that. But shots are more a social activity, for me."

"If you said it to make me wonder, you did not achieve your end," Teja points out.

Pause.

"Shots? Arrows? Firearms?"

Yrael comes back grinning, with a Sex on the Beach for Charlie and a Thunder King for Teja, both of which he hands over.

"There you go, my friends. Sex on the Beach with a Thunder King."

Charlie laughs, both at Teja and Yrael. "Shots, like small drink. Shot glass. And thank you," He chuckles at Yrael, shaking his head.

"Remind me to introduce Teja to the wonderful world of body shots, sometime." He grins widely at Yrael; he could be such fun. Such.

Teja takes the glass Yrael offers him. "A Thunder King -- how fitting! What is in it?"

Some whiskey -- he can smell it. Very promising!

"And body shots, one would assume, are not arrows to my rear?"

Yrael laughs at Teja, before grinning at Charlie. "I will, trust me."

"There is whiskey and coffee, mainly, a bit of milk, the tiniest bit of a citrus-flavored vodka, and ice, in a Thunder King. If he grows maudlin from that small amount of vodka, Charlie, I will leave it to you to cheer him out of it."

"Oh, ha. Thanks," he turned to Teja. "And no. Body shots are vastly different. Vastly." He raises an eyebrow at the drink, taking a sip of his own.

"Vodka does that to you?"

Teja lifts his drink, says "Hails!" and drinks.

"Vodka makes me maudlin -- I will speak even more of death than I usually do!" he says.

"Which shouldn't be humanly possible," Yrael smirks, sipping his own drink after lifting it in a quiet toast to his friends.

"Body shots are vastly more enjoyable than having one's body shot, truly." Can one be cryptic about such a subject?

"Indeed." Charlie smiles at Yrael, snickering quietly. "And yes, it is." Charlie's willing to bet that Teja could speak an awful lot more about death than he does now.

He smiles at Teja lightly. "Body shots are when you take a shot of liquor, and in the usual case of tequila, bite a lime slice and lick the salt off your partner's....body." Where on their body is variable."

That will have to wait; but Teja will not say so, without need, even in front of Yrael.

Demeter needed to know, so she would not give them a basket...

"One might get too drunk to truly enjoy the pleasures of the body, that way," he says, instead.

Hearing Charlie and Yrael speaking of him like that, banding up in teasing him, makes him feel strangely warm and glad, in his heart.

"One must balance getting drunk on alcohol and getting drunk on the pleasures of the body," Yrael smirks, sipping his drink, "And thus enjoy both."

Charlie raises an eyebrow. "Combine a bodyshot and a blowjob. That could get entertaining."

Teja gives them both a strange look; is Yrael, of all beings, truly discussing details of physical pleasure with Charlie, as casually as if it was the weather?

And he does not wish too ask what is meant by 'a blow-job', either.

"True, true," Yrael says, consideringly. "I would imagine that the salt of sweat would soften the rasp of the harsher table salt." Among other things.

Apparently he is.

Because somehow, Charlie has tapped into Yrael's latent curiosity of things.

"Oh, you could use rimming salt and make it easier. Wouldn't be as harsh."

Charlie has that talent, with many people. He merely smiles at the look Teja's giving them both. That smile is considered dangerous, to some people that know Charlie.

"Maybe we'll end up doing bodyshots tonight. It's usually a party affair..."

Teja is truly bewildered at this exchange.

"This is either a case of cat-killing curiosity," he says, "or a place like this would be more like a Roman orgy of old than I thought."

Pause.

"Or you are banding together in teasing me!"

"Oh, rimming salt... I had not known there was a specific kind..."

Yrael glances at Teja, blinking in mock-startled bemusement. "Teasing you???"

They would never do that, certainly. >___>

"It's just a finer grain than table salt."

He grinned at Yrael, and joined him in the mock-startled look, adding a perfectly innocent expression. "Would we ever do that, my Teja?"

"Like little Count, pretending to sharpen his claws on my leg!" Teja says, smiling at them.

Pause.

"I do not know what half these things that you speak of are, at all."

"Cats never tease," Yrael says, though the solemn look doesn't quite make it.

"I have great enthusiasm for learning through doing, but I will have to leave the majority of your tutelage to Charlie," Yrael grins.

Technically, Yrael can't really be said to have much experience, either.

"While cats don't, humans most certainly do." He gave Teja a kiss to the cheek, smiling.

"I'll educate you later. When we're back."

"So you may keep the violently blushing Goth all to yourself?" Teja says, smiling at both.

It was good -- so unexpectedly good!

"I will have to tease you after your lesson, so I might not miss out on how red your face can get," grins Yrael.

Cats don't tease.

Luckily, Yrael is not a cat.

Charlie is not a cat either. And he's glad of this, as he wraps his arm around Teja's waist. He fit against him nicely.

"But that would imply you know what I'm going to tell him, Yrael," Charlie grinned. "We might want to keep that a secret."
