Yrael grins as she steps out from the bar and into the deserted alleyway and the New Orleans early evening. She glances over her shoulder to see Liz and Nikola follow her through the door, which closes behind them.

"We've got a while before I have to be there for my gig," she grins at them, "so I thought I'd show you around the French Quarter."

Since, and she may be ever so slightly sheepish about this, she hasn't gotten around to doing so before.

Liz takes an arm, grinning. "I like your plan." Might need a drink afterwords too, but one before could help.

Yrael grins, taking Nikola's arm as they walk down the street. "I would suggest Cafe du Monde, but we may need the coffee to help us recover from the tour."

"Let's stop by the place I'll be playing tonight, and we can get a drink there. It'll give me a chance to make sure everything is going to be prepared for later this evening."

"An excellent plan," Nikola says, grinning as well. "And Elizabeth and I can scope out the best seats."

Liz nods, grin brightening. "I've never seen you work before," she murmurs with an amused purr. Read books as a cat, play in bar, mooch fish. But an actual gig, that counts as actual work, this is new.

Yrael only counts such 'work' as fun she gets paid to have.

Yrael grins as they pass a group of street performers by the gates of Jackson Square.

"Now, you'll get to," she grins, reaching for Liz' hand and twirling her to the music.

Nikola chuckles and lets them go, watching in amusement, one hand on his hip.

Liz moves easily, gracefully, in the twirl with a chuckle. She'll keep them twirling and dancing to the music with a grin.

And grab Nikola the first chance she gets. He didn't really think he'd just get to watch, did he?

Mad brilliant scientists are not exempt, Nikola. Not by a long shot. And you're out-numbered.

But he's quick! Terribly quick, and terribly opposed to dancing in the street.

Also stubborn. Which means, first chance he gets, he steps quickly (though not so quickly as he could, no need to draw attention) away from both women, and plants both feet firmly on the pavement, arms crossed and a scowl beginning to form.

Nikola is followed by Liz. In the fun, twirling and dancing kind of way. Though she'll stop dancing when she comes up beside him. Her chin settles on his shoulder, wrapping around his arm as much as she's able with them crossed. "You're scowling," she murmurs with a soft pout. Scowling isn't allowed on a fun trip.

He'll have Yrael on the other side, her cheek warm against his shoulder.

"That's not allowed."

Nor is pouting.

"You're trying to force me to dance." In the street! "That's also not allowed."

Though it is, of course, incredibly difficult to scowl with two beautiful women hanging on you.

"You don't dance?" Curious, with innocent eyes that say she didn't know this. She does innocent well all things considered.

"And not force, include you." Liz never forces friends to do something.

"I believe it was meant to be an invitation, Nikola," says the not'cat on his left.

A handful of bills (pulled from your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine-where within that dress) is dropped into the musicians' open guitar-case. New Orleans has always been known as a city full of musicians; Yrael does her part to keep it that way.

"I don't dance in the street," Nikola corrects.

"And it was a very forceful invitation." Cue Eyebrow of Doom as a warning against such things happening again.

"Wasn't meant to be forceful," was meant to be, they were having fun and she wanted to invite him to join without stopping. She nips his shoulder. It's an apologetic nip?

"Where do you dance?"

"Yes," Yrael says, turning a smiles on Nikola. "Where do you dance? We might have to visit such a place..."

She wonders if she can add some last-minute dance music into her gig for tonight.

"In a venue specifically appropriated for that purpose," Nikola says, smirking a little. "Or in the privacy of my own home."

Liz's head tilts to raise a brow at Yrael around Nikola, smirk forming on her face. Fear the cats that plot together. The look specifically asking about where Yrael will be performing. Must check these things now that they know he'll scowl.

The look on Yrael's face is clearly readable.

"Oh that's gooooooood to hear," she says as they continue down the street.

"This is the place."

"Why do I feel as if I'm going to regret this?" Nikola mutters, mostly to himself.

"Downside to scowling?" Liz supplies with a smile as she looks at the place with bright eyes. She liked the look of the place already.

The bouncer recognizes 'Bianca,' letting them in with a brief nod and an even briefer smile. The club is already busy, the DJ doing her work on the small stage in front of the dance floor.

"Sometimes even you are wrong, kiddo," she grins, brushing a kiss against Nikola's ear. The variously-colored lights in the club paint the pale Bright Shiner in white an array of different colors, like paint on a white canvas.

Yrael waves a hand at one of the bartenders, and, upon getting his attention, gestures to Nikola and Elizabeth. "You two get some drinks and pick out a table for when we come back later. Tony will know to put your drinks on my tab. I need to find Charles and see what state everything's in for tonight."

"Blasphemy," Nikola murmurs, but he smiles at her as she leaves and leads Liz over to the bar. He orders the most expensive red wine they carry and turns to Liz for her order.

"Martini, dry," she murmurs with a smile. Her eyes are taking in everything in the club, looking for good seats for which they can watch the show later. And possibly thinking on how much fun tonight will be.
