Yrael has the information they'll need for their... field trip, that which Tesla helpfully procured for them about the Cabal. Yrael, Axel and Nikola have been planning this for quite a while, and since the Cabal seem to be stepping up their activity in regards to searching for Nikola, they decided that acting sooner was better than later.

Getting into Tesla's world is as simple as him opening the door and letting Axel and Yrael step through.

"Why thank you," Axel replies.

His taste is impeccable.

"Yes, I hear the hellfire and brimstone look has been sweeping the housing market across the globe, lately," Yrael says, grinning as he heads over to the security surveillance room to destroy the last of the computers there and the video recordings of what had just happened. "You should charge for your work."

"Unfortunately, my clients so seldom survive," he says with a dramatic sigh.

"Well, feel free to list me as a reference on your resume," Yrael grins, toothily, his white hair and skin lit with the reflected orangey-red of the lava. "I'll be sure to give you a glowing recommendation."

"I'd appreciate that," Axel says lightly.

[mogget_cat]

A++ Would rampage with again.

"Come on. A picture of the artist and his work," Yrael grins, digging a small camera out of his bag.

Axel laughs, and strikes a pose.

[mogget_cat]

The flash is bright, as the camera clicks.

Yrael laughs. "Got it."

"Excellent." Axel's grin is huge.

"Did we get it all, or should we glass it over, just to be sure?"

[mogget_cat]

"Oh, make it shiny," Yrael snickers. "It'll be pretty for them that come later."

One must be considerate, after all.

"Let's go up then," he says with a grin.

[mogget_cat]

"The door is... this way," he says, after a moment of looking around.

It can be hard to tell, what with everything on fire and/or made of lava.

They head out, exiting onto a hillside overlooking the island's shore.

"Very nice," Axel says approvingly. "You take that side, I'll take that one?"

[mogget_cat]

"All right," Yrael grins, and sets to it, silver fire flaring bright.

And Axel's fire is red and orange and yellow, with flickers of blue in the hottest parts, where it melts things the fastest, and--

On impulse, Axel reaches into the flames, and scoops out of glob of molten-- Something. And tosses it to Yrael.

"Souvenir?"

Yrael moves to catch it, sparks flying from where it touches the burning, blue-white skin of his hands. He closes his hands around it.

"I'll treasure it," the Bright Shiner grins, opening his hands to reveal the shining, smooth stone that has resulted from the intense heat and pressure.

Axel flashes him another grin, and that's when the last of the Assassins turns up.

"Hey, good timing," Axel tells it.

The conflagration of the Cabal's facility should be visible well out to sea, at this time of night.

Yrael approves.

"What's the news?" he asks, light dimming until he is fully human-shaped again.

[killitwithfire]

"...Another bust at the last place," Axel says. "But my Assassin saw someone suspicious-" he provides a description; dark clothes, sneaking... "-lurking about. Can't get a lot of detail, but it's better than a Dusk would've done."

[mogget_cat]

There's a brief look of frustration on Yrael's face. "Well, so that makes three locations that were false. We can at least go see if the suspicious someone is worthy of note as well as suspicion."

"We might as well," Axel agrees. He dismisses the Assassin, and opens the portal, swirling oily black.

[mogget_cat]

"And hey, if they turn out to be part of the Cabal, we can press them for information," he says as they head through.

[killitwithfire]

"Such a civilised way of putting it," Axel comments.

[mogget_cat]

"Not being too specific as to how leaves us free to be creative," Yrael smiles his most civil smile, though it's still a bit too toothy to be convincing.

"Of course."

It's not long before they're there, stepping out into damp tunnels.

Axel frowns, but says nothing.
